It was selecting Todoist calendar created in Google by default, and since i wasn't adding new events to my Google Calendar using the Todoist calendar as my new default (instead of [ default calendar), nothing was getting pushed back to Todoist. I wasn't selecting my default Google Calendar. Once you have selected your primary calendar, all events that are added to your primary calendar will be synced to Todoist.
